STP / Packer Repair Guide

(For Use with Ackobom Special Repair Adhesive)

This guide explains how to properly repair minor damage on STP or packer products, such as small tears, seam separation, or loose edges.

Suitable Repair Scenarios

Small surface tears or cracks
 Minor separation at seams or joints
Edge lifting caused by long-term use
 Local damage that does not affect internal structure

 Not suitable for:

• Large structural breaks

• Completely torn or deformed products

• Damage to internal channels that prevents proper STP function

Step-by-Step Repair Example

Example 1: Repairing a Small Tear on the Shaft or Surface

1. Clean the Area
   Wash the damaged area with warm water and mild soap.
   Dry thoroughly and ensure no moisture remains.

2. Apply Adhesive
   Apply a small amount of Ackobom repair adhesive directly to the tear.
   Use a clean tool or cotton swab to spread evenly.

3. Close & Press
   Gently press the edges of the tear together and hold firmly for 30–60 seconds.

4. Initial Setting
   Leave the area untouched for 5–10 minutes to allow initial curing.

5. Full Cure
   Allow the product to rest for 24 hours before use.

Example 2: Repairing a Loose Seam or Edge

1. Slightly separate the loose edge if possible

2. Apply a thin layer of adhesive along the seam

3. Press the parts together firmly and align carefully

4. Let set for 5–10 minutes

5. Leave undisturbed for 24 hours before wearing or washing

Important Notes for STP Products

• Do not apply adhesive inside the urine channel

• Avoid blocking drainage or airflow areas

• After repair, test STP function with water only before public use

• Always practice in the shower after repair to ensure proper flow control

Safety & Care Tips

• Repair adhesive is for product repair only

• Do not use on skin, broken surfaces, or internally

• Allow full curing before wearing or washing

• If odor, irritation, or unusual stiffness occurs, stop using the product

• Store adhesive tightly sealed, away from heat and sunlight

After-Repair Recommendation

Once fully cured:

• Lightly apply cornstarch to restore surface feel

• Store in a clean cloth bag

• Avoid stretching or heavy stress for the first 48 hours after repair
